In other traffic related news, there is a 60 mile long traffic jam in China that has been going on for 9 days and probably won't clear up until the middle of next month. I don't have a link for that one.

That crash was absolutely amazing. What do you wanna bet that once he heals from his wounds he'll be getting something a bit slower (if he can find an insurance company to cover him).

I especially loved the journalist's comment "troopers are looking into what role, if any, speed played in the crash".
Really? They have to figure out if this kid doing 100mph had anything to do with him wrecking? Pah-leez!

People always seem to find the only piece of concrete for 10 miles. That is almost as good as the one where the guy hit the ditch and went over the house and into the tree tops.

You know, the cop was in teh left lane just cruising along not passing anyone... the kid was speeding along and got mad cause he saw a car wouldn't get out of his way, then saw it was a cop and freaked losing control. <--good scenario?

Yup, who would've thunk a one ton could go 100 mph in reverse! Except, I actually cleared the bridge. (kidding).


Real details short story: Summer job. Friend driving, I'm not wearing seat belt. Friend blacks out as we're on over pass, throws the wheel. We hit bridge (14 footer) side, flip over the bridge, I get ejected through the roof (made a sunroof, lol). Broke every bone in my body (almost literally). Had to learn to walk, talk, etc all over. ICU over a year. Rehab over 6 months. Happened summer of my junior year of high school. A real living miracle I am, lol. I guess God wasn't done with me yet.

Not really....he was doing 100mph+ for several miles, according to witnesses.

Nah, the kid was doing 100+. The cop was doing cop highway speeds, so 80 :P

But I agree, its likely he saw the cop and swerved...why he never touched the brakes until he was airborne, only he knows...
