This made me grin from ear to ear. I'd like to think it's real, although we may never know. It's a sunny little thought for the day regardless...

I saw this one a few years ago and I think it was real.

Staged for sure. But funny never the less.
Staged...
If it was real, too much talking and the BMW wouldn't have fired.
Could've gotten ugly quick as the BMW guy told his girl to go get teh video camera from a man who was moving back towards the far side of the truck... Hillbilly could've grabbed her and had a hostage situation...
And there were A LOT of other strategic errors as well.
Just because there was strategic error makes it fake?
I'm not saying it's real, because it IS fake, but I'd think that strategic error makes it more realistic.
fake and old as the internets, fun tho.

No Stu. Just pointing out an error that could've played out differently.

i figure it was fake. first they are clearly canadian. i think the truck was a toyota.(contrary to the toyota propaganda commercials most "hicks" drive American (ford, chevy, dodge), people from the country dont call themselves hicks, usually. nobody was huffing or breathing hard at the end. i have been in several situations like this and everyone in sweating, breathing heavy, etc. even the commenters thought they were cannucks.
Fake or real, it was entertaining :).

+1... people were way too relaxed for this to be real.

I would also like to point out that most of us would probably not put our significant others in the situation to grab keys and camera from bad guys. However, one should notice how nonchalant she got out as if she wasn't scared, worried, or whatever.
I also can't imagine someone in that situation getting away from populated areas to the middle of nowhere.
The supposed bad guys looked as if they were about to laugh once the gun was pointed at them, instead of freaking out and getting behind some cover as often people do when they are really in fear.
The guy with gun was just waving it about as if it were a toy (probably because it was)

I like this one, it's real:
This drunken yob got more than he bargained for when he picked a fight with a BBC presenter who used to be an international martial arts champion.

Hehe,
I believe it could be real. Either that or their good actors and wasted a lot of their time.
