So for much too long I've used a handful of passwords for everything.
I've decided to change this as its dumb ... good way to get yourself hacked.
For a long time at work I've used this app (http://www.ikitek.com/products/Infinite-Password-Generator.html) for creating email passwords for employees where I work, but there wasn't a Mac version so I couldn't use it at home.
I found this little web (http://www.angel.net/%7Enic/passwd.html) applet that allows you to create passwords using a master password and then the site name you're creating passwords for.
Yeah, I know there's other services (like KeyPass), but this is an easy and secure way to make your own passwords.
I saved a copy of the .html file locally so I'll always be able to recreate my passwords (and I put a copy of the HTML on both my wife's web site and on the web site at work).
I'm sure there are more secure methods of generating and managing passwords, but this is easy and if my computer takes a dump I can still figure out these passwords later.
