thought id break er out for a photo shoot,a 1914 colt police positive chambered in 22wrf"winchester rimfire" dated to 1917.its like the granfather of .22mag.i had bought this of of a 90 year old man in denver.i love it.it has abit of pitting on the outside from sweating in a leather holster for god only knows how long,i decided to take er apart piece by piece just to look at her inners.and it appears that it was hardly ever fired, every piece on the inside was just tops.not one fleck of rust or pitting.inside it is 100%.has a nice lockup and a crisp clean action.fires well.the 22wrf is abit of a hot load compared to a regular .22 but man is this old bugger accurate and true.i love it
