Reviews say there ok? But anyone here have experience with them?
I have used a lot of them over the years. Think of them as PMAG Version 0.5
No issues.

I've read not-so-great reviews, but before I knew any better I picked up a few (this was more than 10 years ago). They're still running strong.
Decade Dead Thread Resurrection...
Haven't even thought about or heard mention of Thermold in a while.
Anyone have any thoughts on how they are performing these days? Classic is having a $3.79 sale on 20 rounders.
I had a handful of the 20 rounders back in the day. They worked fine. Buddies had the 30 round ones and they were spotty as far as reliability. I would like to think for that price you would be okay with the 20?s.

I just found one of mine that I’ve had for years and was used a lot . The mesh is showing at the feed lips but looks secure and still retains 30 rounds. I’ve gotten more than my money’s worth out of them. Hoser is right a pmag 0.5.
We used a few back in the day pretty heavily as range mags. I want to say there was some swelling at the mouth after a while and when loaded to 28 or more that made full insertion difficult. Great range mags for the price. Wouldn’t use them for duty/defense.
When someone say Thermold Mags, it reminds me of HK91 Thermold Mags. When I purchased HK91 back then, the german steel/Al mags were much more expensive than the thermold mags. So, they gave me 3 with the hk91 purchase.
Due to Surplus (starting ~2005ish), thermold mags are more expensive than those Al HK mag. So, I sold all my ugly thermold mag, and bought many HK91 AL and Steel mags (al mag at about $2 ea back then).
As for HK91 thermold mag, it is solid.
Thermold mags?
Holy cow, are you doing a mid-1990s retro build or something?
