Worse thing is happening. Legal immigrants who don't support the current WH are having hard time getting citizenships. Those who do get them 45 days or less where normally it takes 1 year. At least thats the rumors among conservative immigrants.

An English person should know that an insulted muslim will overreact.

I'm not sure what to think, other than that if calling Obama a prick is enough to get you banned from America, then about 50% of our own population should have been banned over the last 10 years.

Look at what they have done over the burning of a stupid fucking book!

"My parents weren't very happy"

LOLOLOL

Isn't it strange that we get told over and over illegals here have the same rights but this kid calls someone a prick and gets perma-banned. He should've replied that he wouldn't want to come here anyway and Obongo should shove his ban right up his ass

What's next? The big prick (B.O.) goes around the world talking the USA down but can't take a little criticism himself?

It seems though that wasn't a "citizen", just on a Visa or something for school...

Seems to me that things are getting WAY blown out of proportion is an Englishmen can't call an American (subject still open to debate) a prick...

Our government really sucks.

American rights need to be extended to illegal immigrants and combatant muslim extremists, but not to a drunken englishman.

The cherrypicking really pisses me off.

This clinches it. I'm going to buy that OBAMA SUCKS T-shirt.

Really? I was never once asked any even remotely political question during my GC or citizenship process. I was even prepared to tell the interviewer that it was the election that galvanized me into finally applying for citizenship but they didn't ask me why.

I'd take the story with a huge pinch of salt. The S*n is not noted for accuracy or honesty. On the other hand, there is nothing more annoying to me than a drunken English teenager. I would ban them all :D

HAHAHA, bunch of "Hooligans" watching their "football"! HAHA.

Anyways, this wasn't a thread starter so everyone could chime in with FHBO. I wanted to post teh story and get your thoughts on the "cherrypicking" as it was thought.

There are lots of discussions about those in charge wanting the illegals to be here and tinfoil, etc... but circumstances like this almost lend some credibility to the matter.

Granted we don't know the background of the kid or if a threat was issued. We don't know the full story. However, it was a mad kid doing some "drunk texting". What's the harm?...

Thoughts?

Byte, you're becoming the sound mind of logic on this board.... party pooper....

Cheers brother, lol.

BTW, since the knee jerk was extra... was tax payer money used to expedite the teens ousting?! lol.

This (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1220579/Carnage-Shame-drunken-student-caught-urinating-war-memorial-mass-pub-crawl.html) is what British teenagers like to get up to when they are drunk. Trust me, this kid didn't just call the President a prick. I am sure there were a few '******s' and death threats in there too.

And this: "Got a story? We pay £££ Call: 0207 782 4100" explains why the kid came forward with his story in the first place.

I'm going back there in October :(

But by far the worst moment came when Laing, a sports technology student at Sheffield Hallam University, staggered to the World War I memorial and urinated on it.

That's all we need to know right there.

I thought countering terrorism was the FBI's highest priority? No wonder the 9/11 terrorists were able to do what they did. Incompetence at the highest levels of Government. Resources squandered at pettiness. I guess I better not complain, they might come and take me away!

Wow, I don't envy you... That story is just.... sad, unnessecary, etc... I haven't been to Britian in over 8 years... Last time I was there, it seemed... weird? And I'm not just talking about local flavors, lol.

People who have gotten drunk before: Is there honestly a state to where you are so drunk don't know what, or care what you are doing?

I can see why they banned the kid. Think about it, just HOW does a drunken kid in the UK get and email address for POTUS, hmmmmm? There's more to this story. It went out as "banned because he called a prick a prick", but there's gotta be more. Bet he had a copy of the email address from some illicit activity or affiliated with the activity, and that is the threat.

Irving

Yep. You can totally black out for hours. You have to know your limit, but it is an easy thing to figure out and avoid. I had been drinking for years before the first time I ever blacked out. Kids like the ones in the story who drink a lot, would probably have to have like 15 drinks before getting to black out stage.

I assumed he would have emailed president@whitehouse.gov or whatever it is. It makes for a funny or outrageous (depending on your political flavor) story to imagine that the President read his email and took time from his day to say "BAN HIM" but I'm sure the reality is much more prosaic.

Cunty kid got caught being a cunt and now can't go to Seaworld Orlando with his cunty family. Florida breathes a sigh of relief.

Eta: I've never been that drunk. Sadly, I have perfect recall of all the stupid stuff I did when I wake up the next day. Ringing my sister's house while visiting my friend (oddly enough, at Sheffield Hallam - no war memorials were harmed that night) and proposing marriage to everyone who was partying at her place is about as bad as I've got. On the plus side, I don't get hangovers.

Do you guys remember a bunch of years ago when there was a porn photo shoot at some military memorial? I remember that some people were pissed off about it, but others iddn't see an issue. I wasn't on any boards like this one at the time though, and I bet the discussion would have been a lot different.

At the risk of making it sound like desecrating warm memorials is a national pastime, a few weeks ago a woman was in court for urinating on a different war memorial after giving some guy a blowjob. A bunch of WW2 veterans stood outside the court as a sort of guard of dishonor during the trial and sentencing, and as the woman was leaving her boyfriend did the finger under the nose Hitler salute at them.

On the one hand, I like the gun laws in the UK because the British are such dicks that they would just start shooting each other. On the other hand, perhaps they should be relaxed because the British are such dicks that they might start shooting each other.

Either way it sounds like a lot less dicks

Meanwhile from another country:

Some people have the vocabulary to sum up things in a way you can understand them. This quote came from the Czech Republic . Someone over there has it figured out:

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency .It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their President. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their President."

on in other news...

I guess I am a tad worse or better for the wear.
there have been several times in my youth in which have been awakened after a weekend of drunkeness in a foreign country with a lass unfamiliar yet intimate.

So, in this regard I am glad that nothing incurable or irrevocably stupid has happened to me :)
