Dang! that was scary
Moral of the story: Avoid Texans driving in the rain.....[LOL]
That's some scary shiite....and the biggest reason I drive the F250 rather than ride the moto when the weather turns to crap... morons that don't know how to drive in the first place doing everything but while they're behind the wheel. [Rant1]
That is a incident of high pucker factor.

Hey, hey. I'm a Texan!! And I drove in Alaskan whiteouts!! Don't generalize me with the rest of 'em!!! Although, come to think of it, stereotypes exist for a reason.... HAHAHA.
I'd love to own a nice big truck, but I'm smart enough to know that just cause ya got a 4x4 don't mean you won't be slipping around! HAHA. [Beer]

I'll grant that some Texans can drive.......BUT
In 99% of cases Texans on Ice IS a Walt Disney Production™...[LOL]
I drive the F250 because of all that comforting steel...the crashes happen SO far away....LOL
Of course, the bloody thing gets 12 MPG on the highway, so it sits in one spot most of the year...

I saw one of those near boulder on County line rd. We were all stopped and here come the truck. Missed me but got the UPS truck behind me.

I almost did just watching it . . . . .
How the hell did the truck go out of control like that? Almost looked like he did it on purpose.
I've had a couple of big scares, but nothing like that one.
I was driving up Vail Pass one night in a snowstorm, eastbound about a mile below the summit. Snowing like hell, couldn't see shit, when suddenly there was a jacknifed truck right in front of me, sliding backwards down I-70, down the hill. He was trying to get over the pass without chains and lost traction. I just barely had enough time & room to dart to the left next to the wall and just missed the tractor. Scared the hell out of me.
And about a month ago, I was on I-70 coming back from Kansas about 2am, when a car shot by me going the other direction on MY side of the highway! He was eastbound in the westbound lanes at about 75mph.
Then there was the clown that spun out on snow and ice on I-25 one day right in front of me. I'd just barely cleared him when he got hammered by a semi, which cue-balled him into me and sent my Jeep spinning down I-25, with all kinds of traffic coming up behind us, sliding all over trying to avoid me, him and the truck.
Good times.
