Pulled it down the other day to check it. This is in my front pasture, right next to the house.

From a couple of the pics that I didn't post, if you count sets of eyes, there were at least 6 of them. Those two bucks are going to have beautiful racks; I hope they shed them on my property!

They constantly bed down on that side of the house. If the SHTF, I'm just gonna dig a tiger pit and let 'em pile in!
That's planning!! lol. They sure are graceful and beautiful creatures.

Yes they are. Given where I live, we have about 4 or 5 seperate herds. I've never been able to pin this one down, but I think they come from the south of me at the tree line. I suspect I've seen the big buck before. Too bad I can't tag them to keep track.
I bet you might be able to if you bought the GW/Ranger a beer or two! Tag 'em that is, not kill.

Yea, if I didn't think the wife would kill me with one of my own guns, I think I'd have to claim self defense and take one out!
Get 'em with chloroform.
At first, I thought all the eyes in the back ground were cars driving by on a street. It wasn't until you mentioned counting the sets of eyes that I realized what they were.
Gonna be some nice racks for rifle season in that area.
cool pics.

My 10 year old daughter's reaction when seeing a deer is invariably "YUM!"
I really need to get her to see the beauty of the animals in addition to their tastiness......

That may be true, but she still has a good head on her!

Oh yeah, nothing better in my book than venison jerky... although smoked buffalo does come in a close second.

Honey, it was charging right at me! I had no choice! Don't worry about cooking, I'll make dinner!
