Thought this was a good article to share. Too many people forget those that have gone before us. I'm really surprised she kept this a secret but then most of the WWII vets (even a WWI vet) I know/knew didn't talk much about the war.

It's a real shame that these people live their lives without the respect they so rightly deserve yet actors, athletes and reality show retards are given way too much attention.

Anyways, here's the link (http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20100914/lf_nm_life/us_britain_heroine;_ylt=AjjtmHOKcotw_tyPDeqM.TNbbB AF;_ylu=X3oDMTNsMGduM3EyBGFzc2V0Ay9zL25tLzIwMTAwOT E0L2xmX25tX2xpZmUvdXNfYnJpdGFpbl9oZXJvaW5lBGNjb2Rl A21vc3Rwb3B1bGFyBGNwb3MDNQRwb3MDNQRzZWMDeW5fdG9wX3 N0b3JpZXMEc2xrA2VsZGVybHl3b21hbg--).

She made two prison escapes.

Those days truly were their finest hour.

And why isn't the crown stepping up and footing the bill on this?

ahh yes, the governments of the west are busy in the pursuit and persecution of those overstating the obvious.

It gives me chills the way most vets carry themselves with such humility as if they didn't do anything at all. People like this woman should be enshrined and held up as the role models our children should be looking up to.
