It's the City's law, not county.

I thought it was the City and County of Denver. Same, same as far as I know.

They are the same entity; the City and County of Denver. Same for Broomfield.

Interesting... How would they apply those ban on the city of Aurora area in Denver county and so on. Aurora cops has jurisdiction.
The city of Aurora is entirely within Adams and Arapahoe counties. DIA and Green Valley Ranch, along with the Pena Boulevard right of way were annexed by Denver when they were building the airport.
That sucks. I wish it were just city....

Interesting note, given what is going on with the Maes campaign. Back in the day, Paula Poundstone was the mayor of Greenwood Village and she assisted and spearheaded a state law that effectively stopped Denver as a city and a county from annexing any further land and landlocked Denver into its (then) existing borders. This was known as the Poundstone Amendment.
When Denver wanted to build DIA out in Adams County, they had to get special legislation to be able to obtain the land and annex it into Denver County.

My bad! I meant FREDA Poundstone! Ugh. Some days I can't remember my ass! She's the one who gave Maes money and he "forgot".
Seriously? Paula Poundstone the comedian?
Interesting.
That's almost as crazy an idea as an actor becoming President!
