I'm trying to identify this barrel and what firearm it belongs to. I figured I'd ask the people here due to the vast array of knowledge here!

Thanks in advance!

I wish I was fortunate to end up with these random cool things that I have to ask what they are.

Congrats on the possesion!

To further clarify, it doesn't look like a factory HK barrel, since it lacks the threaded muzzle and thread protector, but it does have a correct, fluted chamber.

I see no pin slots drilled at the breech end, or weld marks near the muzzle end, so it appears to have never been installed.

I would agree. It appeared to be new manufacture and not ever been installed on a firearm.

I have shot some older MP-5Ns with just the 3 lug and no threads. I think the Navy eventually standardized on 1/2x28 threads and lugs.

My old Urbach barrel had threads and lugs, but no fluted chamber.
