View Full Version : Industry Partners
Hey guys, I'm not really sure how many of you keep an eye on the Industry Partners area of the forum, but I've gotten some comments in the last few days about folks just noticing Denstrat.
I wanted to make sure that you all are checking out those sections and really supporting the local small business guys. I'd say damn near everything you might be looking for gun wise is provided by one of us.
Most of us either out right offer discounts to members or one on one offer better rates/prices to CO-AR15 members. Remember, we are here to provide our services to you and only ask that you give us a chance to prove that we're better both and price and service than other, bigger or out of state vendors.
Please take a moment and look through the threads in that area and support local businesses!
Thanks!!!

Good OP BadShot.
This site has a great deal to offer and I encourage everyone to make sure you're checking out all of the various sections instead of just focusing on the common areas we like to visit the most.
We really do have a fantastic group of individuals who've become "Industry Partners". While helping ourselves by getting a quality product at a good price, we are also able to help out our fellow members which can do a lot to enhance shooting sports in general and, more specifically, the AR-15 culture.
Who knows, that partner you helped to stay in business by taking advantage of their services might just be the sole source of that much needed item that you require some time in the future.

Let me know when you're ready to be that Industry Partner, I'll be your first customer! !!
I just hit "New Posts" and see every new post in every section.

Excellent post BadShot.
As an example we at B&P Tactical offer monthly specials to COAR15 members and it behooves the members to keep an eye out in the IP section. You can get some great products and services if you support the businesses that are Industry Partners.
A little of topic but not really- what specials would the COAR15 members like to see?
Now be serious yall, the first one that pipes up with something like "a Barret for fifty bucks" will be flogged with a dead roadkill squirrel that is a week old!
You mean besides neck rubs?

OK Stu- that one deserves a two week old dead squirrel!

No "Tugs" either!
Or a nice pedicure perhaps. That'd be nice.

Well, at the moment I'd like to see Stuart get flogged with that roadkill squirrel. Put me down for a ticket to that, please.
Badshot makes an excellent point. Supporting your local small firearms-related businesses is good for everyone. Midway may have what you want, but how many of us have ordered from them only to have part of the order backordered for weeks (Or in my case, months) putting whatever project you're doing on hold? But if you go over to Bowers to get something, even if they don't have it on the shelf and you ask for it they'll get it pretty quick. If you want something special done with a holster, I'd bet Badshot would be able to work with you. You won't get that from Cabela's or Bass Pro. The local folks can get the same stuff or better, and they can answer questions and give you some sound advice that you won't get from most of these other places. They can tell you the ins and outs of certain combinations of hardware or modifications, and what's best for what you want to do. I'll bet BPTactical can give you better info, do a better job, and worry more about customer service to you (us!) than someone at Gander in what passes for their gunsmith department.
I only mention these folks because they're our local go-to businesses that support and participate in this forum site. I realize I didn't mention them all, even though I've dealt with some others (like Machineguntours!) too. Bottom line, we're doing ourselves a favor by supporting them. It's a two way street.
Yep, agreed. Carl @ BaileyGuns and Krasni @ shooters roost kick ass as well. thanks guys.

I'll probably get hung for this but I would prefer NOT to see "specials". I would rather see fair pricing on a everything all the time versus "mark it up so it can be discounted later". I don't want have to wait for a "Sale" when I need or want a product.
One exception would be on commodity type product that when you purchase in bulk you can pass on the savings i.e. ammunition.

I assure you my prices are VERY fair regardless of the service offered and regardless of the time. I think the IP's here are likewise.
I would like to build my customer base and I figured a special deal to members here every so often would help in that area.
I understand your point though Jack- all too often we see far too many businesses whose pricing is too high to start with. They sucker people in with a "Sale" or "Special" so the poor bastards that patronize them feel like they are getting a deal.
I'm sure he has solid prices all of the time. It's just that if he wanted to earn less money for a specific group of people (this board), he'd consider it.
If you would prefer I'm sure he could raise his price for the board.
(From what I've seen of the industry guys, they have solid pricing)
can we get an emoticon for RETARD ? No one in the IP's do that crap, not on this site. Check out their pricing BEFORE you become critical....

I did not mean to imply that BPTactical was unfair or that I am ungrateful regarding "sales". But, as you pointed out

It just appears that in society today you never really know what a "fair price" is. Just look at the Auto Industry. Does anybody buy a car or truck without some kind of incentive, rebate, special financing?
If we had any Gun Smoke type industry partners on here, the members would out them pretty quickly and they wouldn't last long.

Seriously though, all the prices I've looked thru for the IP seemed great. I wish my locals had prices like that. All I had were pawn shops with hyper inflated prices.

Good thing that's all in the past now.
