Hey Guys,

I have a friend that lives east of Colo Spgs and he's got a coyote or 2 running around eating his cats for a snack. What can this guy do to rid himself of the coyote?? He's in El Paso County, not City limits if that helps. He says his neighbors fire off a round everynow and then and nobody cares. Told him I'd ask you guys for some input.

Thanks all,
Kyle

There are a few of us willing to resolve that problem..[Sniper]
I might have a couple old leghold traps but they have been know to catch cats too and its really only a last resort.

It doesn't sound like you have a problem, more like an opportunity [M2]

Give me a call. I used to live in the Springs and hunt that area. Could solve the problem real quick. PM ME for number. I know several people that would "solve your problem"... not a problem though its a good get together

I will warn you that if you start shooting even in the unincorporated county you will soon be visited by the Sheriff if you don't call them first. Just call the Sheriff's office and tell you will be shooting and when the neighbors call they will inform them it is legal and they already know about it.

There are a lot of transplants in eastern Colorado Springs area and have no idea that it is legal to shoot and hunt there.

I get the feeling he wants to down the coyote himself, but am not sure what he has for a rifle, I just know he's got one. Any coyote tips I can pass along ?? Good point on calling the Sherrif first Colo Osprey.
