I've always wondered just where this country would be stuck if "The Party Of No" had their way; this vid pins it at the mid 1800's once we repeal all the rights they are campaigning against.

I mean, I can understand some of their items - but a few of these Dittohead candidates support Prohibition - yes, Alcohol - and forced abortions. Will these scumbags say ANYTHING to get elected (by appealing to the lowest common denominator)?

Party affiliation aside, where are the sane candidates? Dem, Repub, Tea Bagger, Libertarian, Constitution...where are the sane candidates? They all seems like nutjobs in my opinion.

Seriously? You're attempting to portray a video spoof of some Tea Party and/or conservative female candidates as a serious message on why one shouldn't vote for these people?

I guess you haven't been watching the polls lately. From your post I'd gather you feel the "sane" candidates might be Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barrack Obama and others that beleive like they do.

Nice work on insulting a huge number of people...many on this forum that would affiliate themselves with both sides of the political aisle...by calling them "Tea Baggers".

Why don't you check back in when you want to have a serious debate?

seriously though, that video was hysterical.
Nothing like taking a statement completely out of context.

On a side note related to the video, I would like to add that carbon dioxide is a naturally occurring compound. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon_dioxide)

But keep up the fear mongering, Maybe you can find a picture of one of them wearing a black Blazer with a red scarf and tie it to the Nazis somehow or perhaps equate Sarah Shoveling snow results in Global Warming.

Yes, this needs to stop.

The original poster is right in that this kind of crazy is common place at either end of the spectrum. It seems maybe 10% of the population is crazy right or crazy left wing. When are the other 80% of moderates going to throw these people under the bus?

funny thing about that clip is that they fail to tell you the only way the tax cuts that were "put in place and Designed to expire" were passed that way because its the only way we could get both parties to agree to it.

reminds me of a cartoon I once saw.

Taxpayer standing there in the middle with the donkey and the elephant on either side of him pointing at each other, and each of them has their other "paw" in his pockets.

Sure, just like the AWB had a sunset clause as well. It's a common gambit for the opposing party on a piece of legislation. It's a gamble that maybe they'll be in power when it comes time to renew/expire the law in question.

Mitch, turn in your F'n guns and go on welfare.

We need a thread where Libs can post stuff so we dont have to read it, or get tricked into watching stupid videos.
Please put a (D) or (LIB) next to your names so we know what type of dumbsh!t we can expect or bypass.

How come out of all of the "political parties" mentioned, the Tea Party was the only one written as an insulting slur? Sounds like maybe someone needs to change up their news source to me.

Sorry - been on vacation for a few weeks.

How come out of all of the "political parties" mentioned, the Tea Party was the only one written as an insulting slur?

Well Stuart - its not for lack of trying. It's mainly because I can't think of a decent slur for Republicans or Democrats which is equally short and can accurately convey my loathing for them.

I mean, Republican should be pretty easy. That's the party which draws the kiddy-diddlers, anal/oral love in the public toilets, gay-but-married homophobe, no-morals, rich white americans. I just can't get that condensed down to something manageable. Bigot is pretty close, but I think that term is too broad.

Democrats? Same problem. One could say its the alturistic, glass is half full even when its bone dry, fail at math, mentally challenged, poor, inner city may-not-be-a-citizen party. A "Pelosi" is about as close to one word as I could think up (and it should speak volumes for her that she's *so* bad she has become the name for the airhead party.).

Now, Dittohead Tea Baggers....they are simply the Johnny-come-lately movement for dissatisfaction with the POTUS. Dittohead is a pretty good term for them; they can't seem to think for themselves so they parrot whatever rumor Rush or Beck says as a fact, only they tend to "grapevine" it out of proportion as they Ditto it around. For the term Tea Bagger, well, they chose to name themselves after a sex act so there's nowhere really to go with it. One could go with the term "Birther" or "freeper" instead, I suppose, if Tea Bagger seems too close to the formal Tea Party. The average citizen won't get the Freeper dig, so Birther or Teabagger are left...and birthers are a subset of baggers...so...anyway...

Which brings me to this point. Please don't confuse "tea bagger" with "The Tea Party". It's like assuming all Republicans are Zionists, or all Democrats are Nancy Pelosi. Its the same issue I have with the terms "Lib" and "NeoCon". Do we have to assert "FDR Democrat" or "Goldwater Conservative" to get around the 20% of the vocal nutjobs inherent in every party?

At least a few folks realized the initial post was satire in the extreme. [ROFL1]

I guess you are going to claim Independent? Spouting that you refuse to commit to a corrupt party system when in fact you simply cannot figure out exactly what it is people are talking about when discussing topics and the platforms that they are deciding on?

if I Couldn't figure it out, I would just hate on everyone as well.
