View Full Version : Heyas !
Hiyas all,
My name is Candice and I'm from the Springs, I just purchased my very first EBR last week and already love it (My girlfriend loves it as well so its been a fight on who gets to shoot it more at the range). Other than firearms I enjoy Pyrotechnics (Have my paperwork ready to join the Rocky Mountain Pyrotechnics Guild so I can be good and legal with everything), Zombie Movies, Cooking and Camping. I could have sworn I had signed up here before but when I tried the password reset it didnt recognize any of my emails so I'm guessing my old account was deleted for inactivity. So I created another account so hopefully I can meet some other folks to go shoot with and learn a thing or two about my new rifle Other than my AR-15 I also own a glock 22, a ruger gp100, a mosin nagant 91/30 and m44, a marlin model 60, and a Charles Daly field tactical.

Welcome back to the fold. Nice looking AR
Welcome. Are you British or South African by chance? Male "Candice", or are you a female? Or just the unlucky reciever of a name?
Like the screen name btw. Bears unite! lol. [Beer]
Nice AR also.

Nice rifle....Welcome
BigBear: Nope I'm female lol, Never heard of a guy named Candice but I suppose I'm not as educated on foreign cultures as I could be.
As for bears rocking I totally Agree. Here's a pic of my Childhood best bear friend for life (BBFF if you will) and my GP100

MB888: Yea, I really really hate my toes and had stubbed my big toe on an ammo can the other day so things arent quite presentable
Thanks to all who complimented me on my rifle, I really love it so far and am already planning for our next one. In the mean time I'll be shopping for a .22 LR conversion kit or Dedicated upper to cut down on costs of shooting. Its funny how now that I have a couple cool guns everyone I know is suddenly interested in coming out to shoot with me (I Picked up a Ruger GP100 and Glock 22 around the same time as the rifle, it was like Christmas minus all the tears and dissapointment) So I'll definitely be exploring every cost saving measure possible

Candice - Welcome (back)!
We have far too few ladies on this site (and you're the only one in Colo Spr that I'm aware of). It's good to see a little more diversity and a bit less testosterone on this site.
That's a very nice looking rifle you've got there - I esp like the EOTech you've got got on it. (Been wanting one myself for some time)
Since you were here before I'm sure that you know the best way to enjoy this site is to jump on into all of the various forums/threads.
I know a Candi and a Candice here in the Springs (worked with one, replaced by the other). Are you assoc with the .mil at all?
Oh, the Teddy Bear in the pic is a great touch! [Flower]
How many shots from that GP100 did it take before you could put that bear down?

Welcome Bearark!
Theginsue: I'm sure its a different Candi/ce you knew. I grew up here in the springs but spent the last 5 years in Fort Collins. We just moved back down here a few months ago. As for the eotech, I freaking love it. I had a Vortex Strikefire on the gun until a few weeks ago. My honey and I had stopped by sportsmans warehouse to pick up some ammo on the way to the range and when she wasn't looking I snagged it. (May the lord have mercy on my soul if she finds out how much it cost).
Stuart: Unfortunately that bear (His name is Beario, sort of an unofficial Mascot around the house) Got to the GP100 before I could. He's been loarding it over us ever since. I'll figure out how to get it back from him some day, maybe slip some rohypnol in the Salmon he makes us get for him ^_^.
