Many of you probably already know this.
The free-speech shredding DISCLOSE Act is back.
Using procedural tricks, Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) is planning on bringing the DISCLOSE Act up for a vote on Thursday.
Call both our senators at (202)224-3121, right now! Demand that they vote against any version of the DISCLOSE Act.

Maybe you can elaborate on this Act and why we should do as you ask?

There's a ton of info on it all over the intrawebz. To try to sum it up on here in a brief synopsis wouldn't do it justice. Google it and be prepared to do some time reading a lot of detail. If you want to see the whole bill you can read it here:

I called Bennet and Udall's offices today. Bennet's staffer wasn't real friendly, he seemed a little busy haha. But Udall's staffer was very nice even knowing that I was probably a Republican because I am adamantly against the bill. She said that Udall wants to see debate on the bill before a floor vote. That made me happy. She also said he hasn't taken a stance on it yet...of course.

Today, the vote failed yet again, 59 to 39, without a single Republican breaking ranks.
