These guys tried to pull the wool over my eyes this morning, but they didn't succeed.

They were driving this herd, oops....FLOCK right up US13 between Meeker and Rifle, CO. By the time I thought of grabbing the camera, the majority of the flock had passed. I couldn't begin to estimate how many there were, but it was a lot. We were stopped for at least 15-20 minutes as they passed.
For the first half mile after we got moving again, it was plainly obvious that sheep have no emissions control systems! Car will be off to the car wash in the morning.

Lot of sweaters and clothes there.... lol
Good shoot? HAHAHA
Tractor trailer at 120 mph should be able to take care of that for you.
I didn't think the DNC would be back so soon.

usually sheep or cows on that road. About had a cow earlier this summer going up from new castle, was a horse wandering the road on another corner.

Picture reminds me of the time I brought a girl home from college on spring break. She was from Seattle. We saw a herd of sheep while driving and she asked "why do they paint the sheep?"
I told her it was so they'd know which ones bite and kick.
Later, at the family dinner table my mother asked her if she'd seen anything interesting on the drive over...

So I had sheep in my head and then I read this first sentence. I think since I just watched the movie Fierce Creatures (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119115/) my head went somewhere it shouldn't have. I got a kick out of it though.
I didn't think the DNC would be back so soon.
AWESOME!

I don't understand why she asked why they painted them?
is that really why they paint them?
[Stooge]
Oh wait, I think I get the joke now....heh
I didn't see the paint until I looked again.

You're sittin a gold mine Stu...
Usually farmers paint sheep to identify which ones need to be culled or sent to slaughter. Dots can also be used to keep a steady pattern growth for shaving the wool, etc....
I think I'm missing a joke somewhere, but same farmers really do paint sheep. Just like cattle.
Some farmers even put LED Chirstmas lights on sheep.
