View Full Version : Have You Tried to Email Your "Representatives"?!
I sent an email today to the Air Force on their low-level flyover plans for Southern Colorado. I wanted to copy John Salazar and Michael Bennet--easy enough, right? I went on both of their websites and looked and looked. Guess what? Neither of them, so far as I could find, provides those they "represent" with email addresses for themselves. You either have to call or (clearly what they encourage) come to their various offices in person to do business with them. How is that for really good service to the citizens?!
I've emailed them all before, and now I get junk mail bull(shit)itens from them on the regular.
I've sent them messages in their comment pages. I looked to see if I had any spam from them so I could get the OP an email addy but I am too diligent in clearing their bullshit.

MB888,
Thanks! I guess my point wasn't so much to get the email addresses (but I appreciate them) but my shock that, in this day when email is the way of corresponding, neither of these gentlemen will provide it for their constituents to use anywhere on their website. That certainly seemed more than strange to me! Clearly they don't want those they represent to be able to communicate quickly and easily with them--they want to make their constituents jump through hoops and go through delays in communicating. It is just very odd to me. My guess is that they think email allows too many people to communicate too easily with them, so they try to filter out most by making them visit, call or write snail mail. Wanna' bet that these two use email constantly in their daily jobs?
Sweet, now I will email them and request more flyovers of my neighborhood.
AFA home games should have a helluva lot more noise over the north end of town
