Did you listen to it before you decided? Did you hear about it on a news channel that presented commentary about it in advance?

As for wasting Congress' time... hell almost seems like that should be the goal. The likes of Elmo and those roided up baseball players that have testified in recent times may be what other people have suggested as being equitable to Colbert. But honestly I think the real examples of wasted time in Congressional hearings would be things like the SC justice candidates who "can't offer an opinion on a case they didn't hear" or former attorney general Gonzales who "couldn't recall" anything that was asked of him, or the managers of the fortune 500 banks who wouldn't reveal how much money the government paid them... the list goes on, and on...

Yes, I'm in agreement that this last year or so the country would be better off if Congress was out fishing. But just saying, I didn't find it funny. Sorry. And yes I did listen to it.
I would say in general, I'm tired of sarcastic commentary with no point but to criticize something. Maybe it's just my mood today
