View Full Version : KelTec Carbine?
I know that this isn't in the right place...but does anybody know anything about the Kel=Tec Carbine, in .40, or 9mm. I want to get rid of my HighPoint. The thing is picky about its mags, at times and jams. It shoot like a dream, at times.
Anyway, I want it for plinking, out to 100 yards or so.
Do they run, and are they reliable?
Picked up a Sub 2000 3 weeks ago, ran about 125 rds. through it, no issues
I was shooting at 50 meters, liked it so much I picked up a pf9 to go with it. Just bought a spare mag holder that mounts on the stock, uses Glock mags, 17, 33 rd stick gives you alot of opportunities to flood an area with alot of jhp if so needed... I would dump the high point, Sub 2000 folds in half also, very cool 16" long
Picture is four shoots from a bench at 50 meters, the three closest to the bull, first one hit a pop can. I was impressed
Hope this helps
I couldn't get into my dealer today...it was packed. Do they accept optics? The fotos of the gun make it look like they won't.
Kel Tec has a flip out mount for a scope. $53

I've been wanting to get one of those in 9mm Glock. With the 33 round mags available you have a great little PCC. The fold in half concept is great, fits right in a back pack.

I sold one and wish I hadn't. Some of us guys got to playing with it and a plate rack and half IPSC targ's at 100yds. It would impress you if you did your part.
I have a Sub 2000 in G17 configuration. I bought it new, anD I have had zero problems with it. I wanted one in G19 configuration, but I got tired of waiting to find one. They were scarce in any configuration, and a G19 is my CCW of choice, so the G19 config' was the natural choice. and I have a G17 anyway so........ They're great guns especially with 33 rounds in the grip.

Kel-Tec makes another little boom-stick that I think everyone who owns an AR-15 should have as a companion carry gun. It's a PLR-16; look it up. They are a kick to shoot.

Looks like a muzzle brake is the way to go.
