Talking out of my tail here because I’m lacking details but…”did I hear this radio ad correctly on 850 AM yesterday?"
I do not recall the “paid-by” source – missed it.
General position: Piss on the American Constitution party (i.e. Tancredo).
The ad stated something to the effect of; the AC party is against pension programs for current and future politicians, those wanting to establish a career in politics. This was conveyed in a manner and voice suggesting the AC party has “taken a wrong position” on this and that “pension programs for elected officials are necessary/good" so they may have a career in politics.
Again, did anyone else hear this? I forget the second item but it was pure BS as well.
My point, if I heard this right then that would have to be one of the stupidest advertising moves I’ve heard to-date. Anyone in their right mind thinking that an ad supporting and wanting to have pension programs for politicians is insane and that sure as hell is not going to sway my opinion of Tancredo to the negative. Not only do I NOT want pension programs for politicians, I don’t want ANYTHING to incentivize multi-term and / or career politicians. I want just the opposite to the extreme.
Get elected, do great things, get re-elected fine. Get elected, perform like the status quo [<-- S***], then get the hell out via voter rejection and no...no pension for you. Don't like it, make a different career choice or, consider this "SERVICE" for a short, productice period in your life and then go somewhere else to earn your retirement.
I must have heard this wrong, nobody is that stupid…are they?
