As some of you know. I'll be heading out to CENTCOM's AOR in less than a week. When I can back, I will get with y'all so that we can have a shoot and eat together. I would love to get back with the wonderful people that I have met here and get to know some of the ones that I haven't met yet.

Later,
Sam

Take care and keep your head on a swivel. Give us an address when you get settled in your AOR and we can send some goodie packages for you and your guys.

Sam, I thought the new policy was that we had to have a specific name for packages into AOR's these days?

God bless you and Be safe! I look forward to dining with you upon you're return. We'll have to make it something specifically "American" like BBQ!

Crap!! I forgot about that. Thanks for the correction Ginsue. If you are interested in sending goodies for my troops, PM and I'll give you name and rank for the point of contact. All the goodies that I receive will go into different tuff boxes for all my troops to dig through.

Thanks,
Sam

Silly off topic question for those here that have deployed.

Would a bag of rubber bands be a useful thing to send in a care package?

(Along with the old standards like batteries, magazines, beef jerky, candy and wipes of course)

note: I said rubber BANDS, not RUBBERS.

I don't think that my troops will appreciate a bag of rubber bands as those are not a subtitute to (0ckrings. [ROFL2]
