these just came out and were on sale so i picked them up. don't have all the furniture yet so i will update as i receive the stuff. anyways, its looking pretty nice. very solid and thick, a little heavy if you ask me. the charging handle is supposed to have some kind of grip like feature due to texture on the back or whatever but it feels no different than other charging handles. two interesting things that stand out. one, the rear detent is not held in by the grip, it is completely seperate (ie, the front and rear takedown detents are in even when nothing is installed on the receiver. second, the bolt release is threaded so you don't have to risk scratching your receiver when putting it in. otherwise its pretty straight forward. i installed dpms 308 lpk on it no problems, although you can easily use a regular lower parts kit, especially since it comes with the takedown pins already in. im planning to install a vtac rifle length handguard, 18" blackhole weaponry match barrel, sopmod stock, miad grip. when done ill post pics. here is a pic from their website. rainier had them for $500.
