"Nevada business leaders stumped for Sen. Harry Reid in simultaneous press conferences held in Las Vegas and Reno today.

The Reid campaign released a letter signed by nearly 100 Nevada business leaders from across the state to announce their support for the Senator. The letter was announced today during the press conferences. Read it here. (http://co-ar15.com/forums/../files/Open Business Letter.pdf)

Up north, Reno Mayor Bob Cashell, Co-owner of the Club Cal-Neva Bill Thorton and several others announced their support for the incumbent.

Those in attendance at today's event say Nevada's business community is behind the Senate Majority Leader come November, because they say they believe Reid can do more for the state than his opponent Sharron Angle.

"The issue is Sharron has no experience on the national level, there is no free lunch as they say, it takes time to build stature and influence in the US Congress," said JOHN FARAHI
CEO of the Monarch Casino Resorts.

In Las Vegas, casino magnate George Maloof joined other gambling executives to rally behind Reid. In endorsing Reid, the Palms hotel-casino owner joined executives from MGM Resorts International and Harrah's Entertainment who also say Reid is a friend to the state's business leaders.

Reid is in a tight race against Republican Sharron Angle. Maloof's endorsement is not surprising. Maloof held a fundraiser with President Barack Obama earlier this year that aimed to raise $1 million for Democrats, including Reid.

A list of the business leaders that signed the letter of support follows:

Victorio Andaya, Azteca 2K
Anna Bailey
Kim Bailey
William H. "Bob" Bailey
Vartan Barsoumian, Arsenal, Inc.
Marybel Batjer, Harrah's
Tim Beckett, Nu Sanctuary Lounge
Bruce Beesley, Lewis and Roca, LLP
Gwen Braimoh, Owner, Expertise Cosmetology Institute
Chris Brooks, Renewable Energy Company Executive
Mark Brown

Of course they did, keep the competition out whatever the cost.

On a side note Arsenal's website looks like it was designed by a twelve year old

An average 12 year old would have better creativity than that~![Tooth]

At least they didn't use the guy who shot Vicky Weaver in the head as a spokesman for their rifles like that other dumb company. Lon Horichi or something like that.

This will probably go over even worse though.

That's the right way to go Arsenal!
Sharron Angle has raised up enough campaign funds [total $17.8 million], to run for U.S. President. CQ Moneyline show that 80% of the money donated to both campaigns has come from outside of Nevada, a near mirror image of the other Senate races.
The Tea Party is a media invented movement, not grassroots style!
Also, I want the Chamber of Comerce to identify these foreign donations.

Lon Horuchi (or something like that), He was the FBI Marksman who shot Vicki Weaver during the Ruby Ridge Standoff.

If memory serves, wasn't he a HS Precision Rep? I can't really remember.

NRA is a buch of assholes who shit on gun owners but readily take peoples money and do not listen and endore shitbag gun grabbers.
NRA really only cares about the trap shooter and once a year shooter/hunter that has just a 38 and an old bolt action the hav eshot maybe 40 rounds out of in 50 years.

NRA will never receive my mooney. RMGO supports all of us...fudds EBR lovers etc. FUCK THE NRA!!!!!

Just got this in an email from Arsenal. Basically its says I had nothing to do with this article but I support Harry Reid.

Dear Mr. ********,
Please accept this response to the unfounded allegations against Arsenal Inc. and misrepresentations of my persona as a supporter of anti-gun politicians. The recent accusations that have been snowballing on the Internet are extremely disturbing and need to be addressed. Unfortunately, these Internet accusations are replete with exaggerations, false information, and in some instances intentional malice for personal gain.
In addressing the issue of Senator Harry Reid, I would like to make clear that neither Arsenal, Inc., K-Var Corp., nor I personally have made any donation to Senator Reid’s campaign nor have we solicited anyone to vote for him. We did not draft the letter that has been circulating in the Internet. Nor did we participate in the event where the letter was released. However, we are legitimately concerned about this particular political race. Harry Reid holds the most important position in the United States Senate as Senate Majority Leader. As such, Harry Reid has significant input on what laws will come out of the committees and ultimately be voted on by the Senate. If he loses his position, it will likely be filled by either Chuck Schumer or Dick Durbin. As most of you know, a United States Senate lead by either Schumer or Durbin would be a gun owner’s worst nightmare, a concern shared by many gun rights groups, industry leaders, and gun owners.
This current election is very important and, whether we like it or not, politics and politicians are moving against our 2nd Amendment freedoms. We are all on the same side on of a vitally important issue - safeguarding our 2nd Amendment freedoms. We should all try to work together to protect and preserve our 2nd Amendment rights. God knows how many anti-gun interest groups are out there that would like to take us apart and take our rights away.
I would like to ask you to please read my complete letter published on our website for better understanding of the situation. You can find the letter at http://www.arsenalinc.com/letterfromceo20101014.htm.

Sincerely,
Vartan Barsoumian
Chief Executive Officer
