I heard somewhere that today is the last day to send in your ballots if that's the way you're voting. Anyone know if this is true?

We'll still have a chance to vote at the polls on election day if we miss this cutoff. I like to do it that way anyway...feels more patriotic maybe?

I'm voting for Tom Tancredo for Gov. Maes is waaaay behind Tancredo, plus I like what Tancredo stands for better.

But if it's between Maes or not voting at all for you, still vote for Maes.

All right. Lets do this!

I am listed as a permanent mail-in voter but haven't got a ballot yet. Jeffco did send me a notice a couple weeks ago that said I should expect my ballot anywhere from 15-22 days before the election...

If anything, it's the last day to request a mail in ballot be mailed to you, as opposed to picking up one in person at your county clerk/registrar's office.

Mail in ballots must be postmarked no later than election day, iirc.

You can always go vote in person on election day, even if you've requested a mail-in ballot, provided you don't actually then mail in the mail-in ballot, too.

Unless you're a democrat, then it's "vote early, vote often".

I know a guy who got a ballot in the mail, sent it in, then went and voted in person in 2008 :)

I just updated my address a week or so ago, I hope they send me one to mail in. If not, I'll go in person.

The last day to update your mailing address was the 4th if I'm not mistaken. You may still be registered to vote at your old address and you may need to vote at that address' polling location. Call your county clerk and recorder office.
