User editable encyclopedia. Not the best place to learn who to retain or not.

But not much on anything below the Supreme Court. They state on their site that they don't take an official position on any other judges.

If they are incumbent, vote them out. If they are up for retention, vote them out.
Should so and so be retained, No. Always room for new blood.
um, wait, did I say that out loud?

I'm sitting here with my ballot and I think I'm going to do just that for judges. I can't find anything on them...

I voted no on all of them. I love how in the book that they all voted unanimously to keep each other. Douchebags, you can't all be that good.

Fire 'em all. As long as they think they have job security, they'll continue to promote their private agendas from the bench. If they have some fear of becoming unemployed, maybe they'll follow the law, rather than the advise of their political parties....

I agree. I have voted against every judge up for retention for years. I don't believe in giving them lifetime power seats.

eh, most are double and triple dipping anyway - judge/lawfirm/private lawyer/law school professors etc.
the magistrates are the ones getting screwed. they do all the work, some of the work of the judges and get paid 25% less for the same job.

I went through the judicial review reports in detail. Anyone with a 20+% recommendation to deny retention was automatically suspect in my book as was anyone appointed by Bill Ritter but you have some judges (none of the Supreme Court Justices) who looked to me like they ought to be retained. There are still some in there that were appointed by Bill Owens and who appeared to understand the Constitution (both state and federal).
You want to hold on to these people so they are senior judges when the next governor appoints replacements to the SC (which will hopefully happen soon and hopefully be done by a conservative).

Yeah, don't take my comments completely serious. Some of the judges are really cool and do a good job.
