Didnt a plumbing supply store buy the place at 1801 N. Union?

Now I'll have no place to go for jerky, beanie babies and authentic indian jewelry in a mostly-gun-free environment.

So, what you're telling me is that I have to find a new source for cheap and gaudy jewelry; right?
Okay, in all fairness I did find a good deal here and there for firearms related items at these shows so I'm waiting with baited breath to find out which venue the show producers choose next.

Might have been part of the reason for the big Pueblo show. The only place they could go back to is the Penrose center.

Talked to the folks at Prospectors Seratoma and while the Expo Center has been sold, the new owners have agreed to allow the remaining shows for this year to continue.
Good news is that you'll still be able to start your Christmas shopping at the three day show following Thanksgiving this year and you'll still be able to send jerky and turquoise jewelry as Christmas gifts.
No news whether they will have a new venue for their shows in the Colorado Springs area.

The last card just said that there will be a new location for next year.

NEXT TO REI IN COLORADO SPRINGS
Friday, I was told they were in the final stages of getting a new location but the deal was not signed. It is a city central location.
I posted at length someplace about this. The building was owned by Phil Long Ford and managed by a company out of Denver. The company hired a lot of felons to manage the building. They had parties and raves and lots of other shindigs in the building. CSPD got sick of going up there and breaking up this stuff and on at least one occasion arrested a lot of people. Phil Long did not want the publicity. The building was also losing money. Nobody was renting it out. So they sold it to a local church.
That church, The Springs Church, if I got the name right, is a group of refugees from Ted Haggard's old New Life Church. They number in the hundreds if not more then 1K by now. They needed a bigger place, and Phil Long needed to dump the building. I'm not sure what the price tag was on it.
