Or so says the article. Apparently his name is already checked on the touch screen machines that are used in Nevada.
Fraud, Accident, User Error, or Gremlin Conspiracy...

I heard that. I don't know why we use technology that can be manipulated instead of old paper and pen ballots.
Edit: I do know why, conveinence, faster results, easier to use, etc...

The thing that frightens me the most about these touchscreen voting machines is that most of them are running Windows.
Yes, lets put something important like the vote on machines that are super easy to compromise.
Maybe they are running Service Pack 3?

Most likely they're running ME [ROFL1]
Nevada Gaming Board has more experience making electronic gizmos work securely and consistently than anyone else, what a coincidence that funny business is happening nearby.
But voting machine hacks can be good too!

Impossible! The sign says no cameras allowed at the polls.
From a technology standpoint, I just can't stand the level of malfeasance and blatant abuse of government that these voting machines represent. The fact that the code is entire unaudited, the hardware based on no standards, that there isn't a simple receipt printer that shows you your vote in a verifiable way before dropping into the bucket... it's not stupidity, it's a desire to milk the system and produce machines which can be used to buy the vote.
Nevada state laws about gambling machines are a good place to start. They can and do audit the code randomly, regularly check the machines to make sure they're running approved code.
