Hi all,
After many years, I've finally ordered an AR. Looking forward to shooting with some of you soon.

Welcome IronWill.
I at least hope that someone warned you before you ordered your AR that they are especially addictive.

Welcome. I look at AR's as the "gateway" firearm. :) get them sucked in and hooked and there is no going back. ;)

Welcome from a fellow Arvadan. AR's are addictive. I finally got a 60+ friend to give one a look. He's a Elmer Fudd type - a lifetime member of the Blue and Wood club (nothing wrong with that mind you). He bought an AR and didn't much care for the military trigger pull. I helped him install a JP Enterprises single stage and he is hooked on the black rifle now. It's his his new goto for p-dogs.

Thanks everyone. Yes, I have heard many tales about BRS (Black Rifle Syndrome) and am aware of its notoriety as a gateway rifle. I just chock it up to it being a grown mans Legos. So far my rifle kit is still on backorder and I'll just have to wait. No time frame yet as to when I can expect it. [Cry]
