You mean to embed a youtube video?

Just find the video you want, copy everything after the = then paste that into the youtube brackets. Just like posting an image, but with [youtube] instead of [img].

You did it right, except you copied the whole link. Just copy the part after the = sign.

Figured it out:

Copy from address bar:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v= 8Mo6C6up1Qo

cut off the http://www.youtube.com/watch?v

Then put 8Mo6C6up1Qo in between the you tube brackets

The only thing you were missing is the / before the word "quote" in the second quote.

Is there a way to do embeds of non-youtube videos? I've sometimes found cool stuff on other sites which offers an embed but all I've been able to do is post a link.

For example, here is a vimeo embed. I'm just dumping it here without links:
