Just got back from trick or treating with the kids- they scored a bunch of good candy (even after I threw out stuff that wasn't sealed well).

Now it's time to sit back & enjoy the World Series -

About 2/3 the way through 50lbs of candy.

Handing it out as I type. Most have been great but I did get one that just looked at me and stuck his bag out. I looked at his mom for the sign that A. he does not speak English or B. he is deaf. Both of which we are prepared for.

He was about ten or better. I asked if he forgot why he was here. "candy" came the reply.... Oh well he good ones have made up for it.

My best one so far was the little princess that came with her dad. She was great. Trick or treat!!! I then said tell ya what. YOU pick out the one you want. She just lit up and was so happy that she got to pick the one she wanted. Dad is a solder and said I think you just made her night. :)

Another 1/2 hour and we will call it quits.

we had a slight problem of eating some of the candy before the kids came, this is my first halloween handing out candy, so i might have been heavy handed.
