It was a little slow this year so we only had 117 ... last year we had 135.

I'm all happy we have some candy left over this year for once :D

I was disappointed. We only had about 20 or so. I really look forward to doing the candy thing.

Three.

We live in an apartment complex with a ton of kids so I thought we would get more than that. Not this year. They all went across the street to the nice neighborhood to get all the rich people's candy.

In other news, I will be posting a ton of candy in the classifieds in a little bit...

You should have dressed as a gypsy and kidnapped them to teach them a lesson.

Went out to dinner with the girl. I have to say that I expected to see a lot more kids through the neighborhood, especially since it was a fairly nice night. Maybe they were all afraid of razor blades in their candied apples?! Or maybe it was because of the school night, we may never know!

Exactly the same as last year, none!

Maybe its the smell of rotting flesh along the dimly lit quarter-mile path to the cave.

Oddly enough I went all out this year and No one showed. I had the van washed, raked leaves, trimmed up the hedges and everything and I Still didn't have any Kids.
Think it was the Costume?

I was happy when the dogs started barking. Looked out and watched a mountain lion cross my driveway. No kidos again. Dang Mountains

Zero here as well.. given where we live, if anyone did show up, they'd probably get a bag of candy each...

hmm, the dogs did have some unidentified bones out on the deck this morning...

About 45lbs of candy worth.

Less than last year.

Well, I never though about counting them, but we had a significantly higher number of kids this year than I ever recall having come make the rounds. My neighbor across the street had all sorts of decorations in his yard so I'd say that about 10% of the kids completely bypassed my house.

I had my wife buy a ton of candy and we still have a lot left, so it looks like I'll have to take quite a bit with me out hunting.

I don't know what I'd do if I were interrupted over 100 times in one night.
