"McDonald projects turnout of more than 50 percent in 12 states -- including Alaska, Wisconsin, Colorado -- where some of the closest statewide races in the country are taking place."
If you haven't voted already, you need to go vote today. Seriously, CO voting will make or break this country and this state this go around. We are in a position to unscrew this administration both federally and in the state.
We all don't get along and agree about everything, but I'm more than certain I want this group voting more than some of the other social networks out there.

Absolutely! This is one of the times when we get to exercise our rights, and one of the most important of those times. Here's your opportunity, make it count!

So I was looking at the Live Election Blog on the KDVR website, and at the bottom, there is a section that says "who do you think will win the Colo U.S. Senate Race" and "who do you think will win the Race for Governor", Now I realize these numbers really don't mean a whole lot, and I have no idea how many people have actually given their opinion, but the numbers look good.

I spoke to 5 different clients this morning. Typically on Mondays, most of them are "meh..." Every single person I spoke to is so enthus and happier than usual. At the end of each conversation, I mentioned don't forget to vote! And everyone of them indicated they have mailed in theirs.
It seems that people are happier because they are expecting better days ahead after tonight! [Beer]

I hope you CO folks vote well and in numbers. I am sick of getting roto calls here to my home in TN about Bennett from all parties and groups. The NRSC can bite me too. They call me twice a day about Bennett! I have no idea why or how they have my number since its a TN number but still!
Stay classy CO. I hope when I check back in with you you have a better Gov and an elected Sen. because I never know when or where I'll be moving to next. Could be CO again.
Later!

And... I just got back from voting after my classes finished. There was an ass-load of boo... uh, I mean, R's on my ballot for some strange reason.
Oh, ya. I went in and physically voted for the first time, ever. I haven't had the opportunity to vote in my state of residence since I was 18. It helps motivate turn-out when they have a really hot chic standing there to help you when you first walk in the voting area. That's right. That's how we roll here in the burbs, baby.

I voted after work at about 3:15 today. I was only the 78th person to have voted at that spot. Seemed like an awfully low number to me. There is nothing but residential neighborhoods around this place. Maybe they went somewhere else? It's amazing to me that some people don't care enough to vote. And it's even more amazing to me that the people who gripe most about stuff do nothing to change it. Weird weird people man. But I'm totally normal . . . . . . . . . . .

My observations tonight voting:
1. Us younger folks need to take the time and volunteer to run this crap. (younger than 80 anyway) Can't take the disorganized old folks running the precinct. What a cluster. Eh, ? What did you say yer name was? Speak up I can't hear ya!@#%
2. I will probably switch to mail in ballots because of number 1.
3. There are 100's of spanish families in my area, yet I saw none of them at the voting tonight. Sure they could have done the mail in ballot, but I'm not so sure. Whats up with that?
4. Related to number 3, 200 year old lady in line just ahead of me. Bitching up a storm about how it took her forever to find the place to vote since they decided to close a precinct down due to projected low numbers of voters. If this lady can get out and drive herself beyond her normal neighborhood to vote, why can't the rest of the population do it.

"Politicians are much better in New York and Chicago"

Assuming you're in your 20s - You're hanging around the wrong people. I've heard the extreme opposite from everyone I've had the opportunity to BS about it with.
Also, if Bennet wins, I'm calling shenanigans. I don't think there's a single recent poll that showed him winning.

Fortunately you are right, the above are opinions voiced by people I wouldn't normally associate with socially but am unfortunately stuck with (work and classmates)
Also on another note does anyone remember how many times the presidential race had to be called in 2000? I'm just saying stay positive folks only 10% precincts reporting thus far

I am beginning to wonder if all those 20-somethings that share our views actually went out to vote...20-somethings don't have a great record of getting to the polls. And FYI, I'm in my 20's and I have voted in everything since I turned 18 but I would say a vast majority of those our age don't. They will BS with you about it all day but don't vote.

Thank you, Dan Maes and the Colorado Republican Party, for truly fucking the people of Colorado. Assholes!!!
Been forced to tolerate these worthless fucks for a ~four year ride considering Reid, Pelosi and of course, Oba’Mao’s tenure (experiment?) coupled with the rest of the lefty ass-wagon full of coattail-hanging riff-raff of late.
So…I’m not dwelling on the CO Guv debacle, nor Reid v Angle or Boxer’s win or the entire left-coast boring and expected shit-fest. I’m friggin’ very, very satisfied with the utter “brutal ass-rape annihilation” being applied to the socialist regime nationally this evening …yup…look broadly and think deep, this is monumental.

Dan Maes-
What an embarrassment to yourself and to Colorado Republicans. If you had a shred of decency and self/respect you would have stepped out of the race at any given juncture and endorsed Tancredo.
Not to worry, the voters have short memories....If you want to run again as a 'public servant', I'm certain that there will be many more opportunities for you to do so...Just not as a Republican. Here's a thought, is dog catcher still an elected position?
well it looks as if Reid won[Bang]
looks like republicans will take the house and the CO house, and the senate will probably be even or very close to even.
gotta say that is some pretty good progress
Anyone have an update on the senate seat?
Buck and the crapweasel are too close to call.
Shit this is too close maybe they still need to count CoAr15's ballots
