My Grandfathers, My Father, My Uncle, My Cousin and I have all been doing a generational breakfast thing at TREA for a very long time. Every Sunday we meet up, eat and just BS.

But this past Sunday I noticed that the TREA we go to posted a 'No Concealed Weapons Allowed on Premise' sign. I asked some people there why the decision was made and no one seemed to have a clue.

I'm torn, I don't want to break our tradition but at the same time a hate frequenting a place that takes such an anti-gun stand. And of all places, a TREA, you would think they'd have a little more understanding and acceptance of firearms.

Talk to the manager, have your facts (great example is the Ruby's incident in central Texas and how it could've been stopped if CCW was allowed as several people had to leave their firearms in the cars, etc.), write a nice letter voicing your displeasure. I did that with a Golden Corral here in the Springs and they took the sign down.

Tell 'em you've been coming here for generations... literally! And you'd hate to stop doing business with them. Granpa, Dad, and you!

TREA stands for The Retired Enlisted Association.

Doesn't surprise me ... the VFW is just as bad what with their endorsements of liberal Democrat non vets over conservative republican veterans.

I think the problem is that large organizations attract liberals like flies.

That's right, Luby's! I don't know why I was thinking Ruby's.... Luby's was like a Golden Corral with real food, lol.

You might want to contact Dudley @ RMGO.org to apply some pressure to the TREA as well....

There's a form you can fill out on RMGOs site for places that disallow firearms

They also have cards to give out to offending businesses.
