What are you guys wanting for Christmas this year. I'm not really a materialistic person but the girlfriend wants to know. And I have no idea

I haven't asked for anything in years. Don't really need anything and I don't want to ask for ammo, beer, and cigarettes. Gonna be a hard Christmas for me though, first one since my dad passed...

Christmas is the only holiday I was 100% sure he'd be around for growing up, since he worked for the railroad, so it was the big one in my family. I've heard a lot that it doesn't get any easier but I sure as hell hope everyone's wrong. :(

Sorry to hear about your losses.

Holy shit, man! I'm so sorry to hear that! All in the same year? Wow. We lost our dad a couple weeks before Christmas too in 2004, but nobody else. My salvation, I guess, is that I've been away from the hometown and family for so many years, and seldom got to go back, so it seems losing my parents didn't hit me as hard. I still miss them, but wasn't used to seeing them so it didn't hurt so bad. Still hurts though. Starting to hurt a little more right now.

I'm sorry to hear about your families guys. My wish is to be gainfully employed again. And a Gerber LMF II.

Oh, the Christmas list thing.....I don't really need/want anything. Just a gift card to get a buncha used CD's to load in my iPod, and somebody to make my damned iTunes work with my iPod again.

Last year I got a gift card at Car Toys, and got an iPod dock and satellite radio installed. That is sweet! I have to drive for hours at a time, and I highly recommend both! No more FM.

My wishful thinking is either a bobbed deuce...

or a M82

... but most likely we'll end up putting a down payment on a property.

Summer!! I've had enough winter already.

Springs a mess and fall's a bummer.
Wake me up when it's summer!

yeah, there's not a whole hell of a lot I want. If someone wants to pay off my credit cards, I would be ok with that...

I don't have too much "stuff" and really don't want any more than what I have. Toys (guns, vehicles, mtn biking & ski-gear, etc.) are cool but...I just want time to enjoy my hobbies and life, nothing more really.

To that end, the lady and I decided "no stuff" this year. We're packin' a bag (1 each) and heading to a non-commercial / non-tourist area on Costa Rica's south west (Pacific) coast, the Puntarenas Province in early/mid December.

Well if you guys go in together you could get me a nightforce scope in a Larue mount!
That is my wet dream christmas present.
what I realistically want is a millett trs to top off one of my ar builds. Oh and some 44 mag ammo for a recent trade!

I just want America as I know and love it to survive.
(I suspect that's too much to ask)

Not too much...family is doing poorly, financially.

Only really asking for a few movies, a state parks pass, and a couple tools.

I'd like an Xbox 360 and/or Remington 700, but both are too expensive right now...
