So I have an old Crossbreed holster I bought a year or two ago. I remember it being about $40 or something. Just went to their website to look at ordering another one and they are listed at $69 now. What the? Still an ok price for a good holster but man, they have become popular and their price shows it. Lame. Part of the appeal was the great price. I guess they have to pay for those TV commercials somehow.

I think the Crossbreed holsters are great, but I also have a more expensive holster similar to the CB from Tucker Gunleather (http://rlcompanyusa.stores.yahoo.net/index.html) that is amazing. The Tucker is MUCH higher quality (that you pay for.) Just can't afford a semi-custom holster like that this time. But for $69 like the CB is going for now I might as well get a Galco or something that I can have next week instead of waiting the 4 weeks from CB.

Anyone have the N3 IWB holster (http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterPT3.asp?ProductID=3720&CatalogID=7) from Galco? It looks like it would be pretty comfortable...

I don't have the N3 but I have several Galco holsters... they are great and their customer service is fantastic.

I currently use the M4x with lock for my (my wifes, hehe) G26.

I like Galco too. I have a USA Ultimate Second Amendment holster which I sewed some leather reinforcement around the mouth for easier re-holstering. Great holster to easily slip on and go. Then, Galco must have seen what I did because they came out with the UDC Ultra Deep Cover holster which is exactly the same as what I did to my USA holster...I got one of those too. I think I might try the N3 because the belt clip sits behind the holster so I think it isn't as bulky.

And my buddy frequently buys guns "for his wife." She doesn't use most of them...I might have to give that a try!

Edit: Galco now has a Crossbreed type holster called the Kingtuk...$60...cheaper if not purchased directly from Galco I bet. I think CB may have priced themselves out of the market if you can get a similar factory holster faster, cheaper and better quality.

I have one I used for a 5" 1911. Overall it was a comfortable IWB but it makes for a crappy draw since it pivots at the belt loop even with my wilderness 5 stitch.

Thanks for the input.

And I just found a Crossbreed thread in the CCW section so sorry for the double...[Shake]
