So, we are about a month out and I thought it'd be neat to see what people have on their Christmas list. Since I'm the OP I guess it's only fair that I start...
The onyl thing I really "want":
1. Cash - it's the king would be great to pay off some outstanding debts, especailly since we missed a paycheck due to the wifes job... however, we should be to the point to where we don't have to live check to check by Christmas, so it might be a blessing in diguise.
If I had to narrow it down to earthly possessions:
Would love to get my hands on:
2. Lasermax internal for G26 and/or G21SF
3. Maybe a KitchenAid big mixer thingy for the wife or a huge dino bone for the dog, HAHA.

The longer I'm out of work the more grateful I am for the simple basics-food,shelter, and family. I'm looking forward to an old fashioned Christmas of family and friends. [Beer]

Um, I kinda want a breadmaker too.
I don't have any "needs" really that can come as gifts. As for "wants," well, the sky is the limit...

I am finishing off my AR now with a free float rail and front GB/BUIS... so I'm set.
Me - I'd like a nice Loooong weekend with the wife at the cabin and about 2 feet of snow!

I'd love 1000 rounds each of 9mm, .45ACP, .223, and 7.62x39 to appear under the tree...but I would trade all that for a job to replace the one I am about to lose[Cry]

heck for being only 20 in college soon 21[Beer] i am pretty happy with what i got, considering what i have for only being 20, but looking at getting a UBR and Optic leaning towards eotech for my M4 than painting in my self. and of course i want a bolt .308 target/sniper rifle. i try to keep to one gun a year! or as many as i can get before i ever get married! [LOL]

roof over my familys heads ,food on the table-the simple things
but what id reealy like is to be able to come up for air to enjoy myself instead of bustin my back to be a month behind!

But since that ain't gonna happen, I'd give anything to be able to turn back the clock for my little dog, Stella, so she could be a pup again. She's 16 and her time is almost up. I'm gonna miss her a lot.
UPS is delivering a DPMS REPR .308 this morning. That may be my Christmas for about the next 5 years.
I asked "santa" for a triumph speed triple. . . . I dont think she'll bring it.
Realistically, we're going home to visit family and airtickets were $2800 for the 4 of us and we just did the bathroom over, and momma wants a new living room set. so I think Christmas will just be for the kids this year
and my 8 year old wants drums, so maybe I'll get another set of custom ear plugs for the house so I can leave my other set in the range bag

I definitely hear that. My Halloween gift to myself was a budget for the next 2 months, so sticking to it will be the first part of the plan. I want to get my fiance something nice, not sure what yet. For myself, I think some cash would be best so I can either spend it on bills or in the rare case that I won't need to, maybe a tattoo session, it's been a while since I've had one of those. I'll wait till January or February to get my first pistol.

Amen, when I was a little kid we didn't do the present thing. We get things like socks, shirts, etc. But it was some of the fondest memories I had becuase we would have the whole extended family together out on the farm. Good times. Thanks for the memories.

Sorry Stu, wasn't trying to make a "na-na looky what I got/want" post. Just wanted to try and cheer the place up a bit. I pray earnestly that'll you'll find gainful employment and it'll be enough for you to live a comfortable life.
Anyway, I'm just looking forward to getting together with family.

We just recently got a breadmaker. Pizza dough from the breadmaker makes for some SERIOUS pizza, better than you can buy from any pizza joint. It comes out thick like BeauJo's, we usually make it with parts whole wheat to one part white flour. You end up with two $15 pizzas for about $7 or less, depending on what ingredients you buy. You can get as fancy or plain as you like. And it really comes in handy with a severe milk allergy, when cheese is out of the question.

So my family's priorities and wish list changed a bit this month. Our neighbor and her ten year old son were in a head on collision 285.
The mother was killed and her ten year old son, Parker has been in ICU since the accident. Parker will probably never walk again. He is a good kid and did not deserve this.
