Don't be ashamed of Mcdonalds and other commercial places, you don't have to hide their signs, people like me will find them.

Vail ain't a REAL town ... its just a creation of Vail Resorts Inc ... so its like complaining about the price of hot dogs at Disneyland.

Honestly I'm surprised they don't charge admission (maybe I shouldn't give them any ideas).

Hey, Ice Road Truckers got boring after episode 2, now that we are on season 3, what can we do to spice this thing up?

-How about we take some loud mouth assholes with a CDL, put them on some scary roads in another country, and watch them get mad at people honking at them for 6 hours?

Great idea! These people already have to sit on the side of a mountain 3 hours each way to make a delivery every single day. Let's hold up traffic with camera crews to get wheel shots too. I'm sure the locals will just love that.

Somebody actually watches that IRT show? Yeah, she looks cute, she could probably make a better living doing cute girl things rather than freezing her tits driving trucks in Alaska.

And Vail....I have to drive through there too often, usually at night in a snowstorm. Worst damn weather in the state, let the yuppies that live there have it, they deserve it. And food? There's a Denny's right off I-70, in Vail or somewhere's thereabouts, that's the WORST Denny's I've ever been to. Filthy dirty, outdated 70's-80's interior, and the most piss-poor service ever. Last time I was there I walked out. Late at night and I was the only customer in the place, yet they still couldn't get around to bringing me a menu or even saying hi? Fuck 'em.

Why are all the workers there Mexican. Its like Kuwait where all the un-important jobs go to phillipinos, In vail if you don't park cars then you have to be Mexican. I went to Walmart and the only white person there was my wife, and half of my daughter.

Have you been around eagle or gypsum? TONS of latinos, and most of them work in vail. Same thing with Carbondale: Aspen and Glenwood need workers, but none of them can afford to live in those towns

Wife and I stayed a couple nights in Glenwood Springs, and went to Aspen to see what was there. We couldn't believe all the huge private jets lined up on the ramp at the airport, there were dozens of them! And that's just what we could see from the road as we drove by. Way too ritzy for us, we didn't even eat there. Just gawked around and went back to GS.
Good choice of going back to GS! People in Aspen are assholes...for example, I needed to pick up a 4k pound safe from a bank up there and I had my 20' trailer with me and obviously there is no parking and I really didn't want to park in an alley because dragging that safe through snow would suck! I find a spot up front by this bank and get as close as possible so I could load this up, well here comes the parking nazi and says since my bumper is about 4" out in the intersection that I need 4 certified flagmen to direct traffic. WTF people in aspen don't know how to go about there daily bussiness with 4" of truck bumper sticking out...there was no way this was conflicting traffic either.

Bunch of spoiled brats up there. Money doesn't buy intelligence. Almost $100 for a lift ticket, amazing. Never impressed with Vail's slopes.

For my money the PRB or Peoples Republic of Boulder is still the worst town by a longshot. Vail/Aspen suffer from money. Boulder suffers from much more than that: liberalism, tree huggerism, elitism, stupidity, CU (went there for a bit so I can bitch about it), twitism. I avoid that town every chance I get. Won't say what I do but I leave a bit of anarchy every time I get stuck going thru that town. If only they would cecede from this state...

Back in the day when I did Tile, I was in Boulder (im)proper at a city counselmans property. I was cited for smoking in public while sitting on my tailgate. (back when I Still smoked)
I Readjusted the contract to reflect the additional 48 hours it was going to take me to drive in and out of the county for my smoke breaks as well as the subsequent cost increases.
The councilman took the ticket to a judge and claimed "private property" on his behalf.
Fucking hypocrites.

1) Haven't met any girls there (and don't want the wife to kill me if I did) so I'll take your word for that.

2)Hell yes! Not too many real gunsmith schools left, especially good ones

3)That construction has been going on since before 1999. Every single time I've driven to Albuquerque it's in there somewhere.

I hope your joking...cause even though i despise all the green crap being jammed down our throats, dumping oil into a stream can be extremely harmful to the ecosystem. It's like not picking up your trash from the camp site, or leaving brass, shot up targets, and other random shooting crap in the woods...just plain bad stewardship that will ruin the mountains for the rest of us. If you want to piss of the commies in boulder, buy a good cigar and walk down the sidewalks while blowing smoke rings! But don't dump harmful substances in the streams!
