A quick Youtube that I thought was fantastic.

Jack Stamp is (was) a great trumpet pedagouge.

Your thoughts would be interested.

Wicked cool video. The geek in me would prefer music over high school sports.

Pedagouge...

What is that, someone that gets "off" to knives and sharp poking instruments? Sounds like a short lived fantasy. Just sayin'

Are my thoughts helpful?

A pedagouge is basically just a teacher, but in a very narrow and specific course of study such as trumpet instead of general music. Make sense?

His speech sounds like a short lived fantasy? I don't understand your thought so no, it's not helpful! HAHAH [ROFL1][Beer]

I don't want to start a sports bashing thread. They both have their place. I just saw this for the first time and thought I'd post. It made some good point to me.

Bear, sometimes your posts make it seem like you don't think that we appreciate music, just because we aren't professional musicians.

I think Lady Gaga is the best musician in the world. Trumpets are stupid. Herp derp.

Edit: Also, for some reason I picture BigBear wearing a monocle and drinking a glass of Scotch.

Yes Sir, that is me in all of my glory... ha. I know, I know. I need to lose some weight. Workin' on it. Apparently being able to cold bench over 330lbs adn squattin' over 600lbs ain't as impressive as it used to be...

Stu, I don't think that at all. I know several members on here who have great tastes in music, etc.... I just hear conversations at work and how horrible artists (Britanny Spears, etc) are sooo popular and it just makes me think poorly of peoples "ear" quality... I don't know how to explain it.
