I know I am. I despise what my government has become. I despise this administration and what it stands for.

Since the TSA Pat-Down thread was popular (but had gotten a little sidetracked) I thought I'd post this:

Napolitano considering allowing Muslim women to pat themselves down at Airports! (http://www.greeleygazette.com/press/?p=6687)

And there are still those who will defend Incompetano and TSA.

You know, if we could all do this the problem would be solved.

I had considered a self pat down, but wasn't sure if it would work or not.

sorry/threadjack

That does not surprise me one tiny bit.
Any one up for starting a religion? Our version of shiri law (correct me if ive got that confused with another religion, but i believe its the islamic version of the 10 commandments) could be our God demands we are armed everywhere we go, only Victoria's secret models can administer pat downs to our manly areas, and no health food allowed!

Oh boy this country sure is in one hell of a mess, where and how do we go about fixing it? Will washington listen? Or will they make a peacefull revolution impossible?

How could you think you're doing a good job when you do everything you can to avoid actually solving a problem.

The news article is VERY inflamatory .......

Napobimbo is not considering the self pat down's persay ......

more just considering how to handle the issues that CAIR brought up as a whole...

And considering what she and her buddies at DHS have told us latelty..

She better be just figuring out the nicest way to say " go Fuck yourselves, we have to deal with it .. so do you"

She better be just figuring out the nicest way to say " go Fuck yourselves, we have to deal with it .. so do you"Napolitano doesn't have a great track record for doing the right thing. Good luck with that "go fuck yourself" theory.

I'd be more inclined to say she'll cave to the demands of CAIR. Then, when a Muslim woman tries to blow up a plane and the passengers stop her, Napolitano will strut around talking about how well the "system worked".

That is why I said " had better be "

your probably right and they will cave in some sort of bullshit way.

If they do ... and I am supposed to get on a flight with one dressed liek that.. I'll refuse to get on the flight and do my best to rally my fellow passengers to do the same.

So, 96% of the respondents to the Reuters poll said they would make alternate travel plans. If that is even half correct, the airlines could be in a world of hurt.

Interesting that the toner cartridges were sent by freight. How does that effect passenger travel?

Looks like I will be seeing the US from ground level for a while. [Roll1]

Less than 50% of Americans even fly once a year. Out of the people that do fly, around 29% fly only once a year...and only 7% fly 10 or more times per year. Those 7% are the ones who give the most money to the airlines. And those same 7% are likely business travelers like myself who can't refuse to fly or they'll lose their job. It doesn't matter what 96% of people in the poll said because half of them wouldn't have flown anyway. The airlines won't notice a even a fractional change in passenger volume.

The only way this will change is if someone sues based on it is a violation of our constitutional rights to be searched without warrant. And even then, it will take a leftest Supreme Court to agree which is unlikely. Unfortunately, I think we are stuck with body scanners and pat downs. The slope just keeps getting more slippery and I'm not sure we can stop it now.

As much as I hate these new procedures, and as much as I'd love to quite flying to stand up to the Feds, I can't because it puts food on my kid's table. I will have to stick to writing my asshole representatives to tell them they need to do something even though they'll just tell me I'm wrong.

if flying is not a right and its a privilege then why in the fuck do we have to bail them out?

Bailouts are not a right, they are a privilege!
The fourth Amendment is not a privilege it is a right!

Sould just start up a good ol boycott and just use alternitive routes for transportation. But wait do americans still boycott???

Its sad what we have become since the revolutionary war. Use to stand up for our beliefs and what was generally right. But now all we worry aboout is "pollitical correctness" and "being hated by other countrys". I say F****em if they dont like me ohh well, just watch me do nothing when they're sorry a** is begging for help.

And as far as our "elected officials" go I believe thomas jefferson said it right when he said "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

I believe that we are all created equal no matter gender, color, creed or religon. I also believe that most highly placed officials are not doing there duty to the public they represent but the welfare of their own best intrest and that of their party's.

It will get far worse than now before something is done. Ok continue my rant is over for now.
