so i been trying to figure out how to get a spider webbing look or spatter finish after a while i found some fabric. which gave me hope for the look i wanted and so playing around with krylon with green and black i was able to get some progress so fare im pleased with this first go around just for kicks. thought i share with a few pics i'm going to experiment with duracoat and airbrushing it to see if i get a better out come. this will be done to one of my AR Optics and all!

Any chance you can bring the accenting webbing out any more, make it stand out just a tad more? Dude, come up with that and I've got some mags for you to do up!!

That's somthing i am going to work on. with practice and experimenting i think i can get it out a little more. the main issue is making sure the fabric is flat some times it likes to lift off the surface which the paint just fills in.

im gonna look at some other ideas as i go! its a work in progress.

any suggestions or ideas from anyone here is welcome i am more trying to get this look because its what i want and well i have found only a few who are willing to try to do this look.

there are plenty more threads about painting in the "DIY" area on that forum too.
