/rant

I don't own any Glocks and don't know much about them. So please when posting a Glock For Sale ad, please include the caliber. Apparently if it's a GLOCKXX we're supposed to know what it is? Do they have a specific model number for each caliber? (just asking! I don't know)
Sure I can probably google it, but that is too much work. [Pepsi]

/rantover.

thanks for listening.

Ok, so I did it, I got something to help me out:

Yup. Every model is a different caliber and size.

If it says Glock XX, you will know exactly what caliber and size it is.

yeah, listing the caliber of a glock after the model number is pretty redundant.

You forgot to Google the differences between the various generations (1-4) and the "SF" models.

My Favorite Glock rant is (just because there so damn many of them) That I see people all the time trying to sell their used Glocks for more then what a new one cost.

I have always thought you buy whatever glock first... then buy the ammo accordingly. The later is such minor detail [Coffee]

My only complaint about glocks is people think the can sell them for more then they are new or what they paid for them.
As far as the calibers go, just google it. There alot more things out ther to complain about.

I've never understood that either. Why would I pay $600 for a used glock that I can pick up new for $500? But hey, if it sells, more power to em.

I can understand when everyone was going apeshit over Obongo and buying anything at asking price but if your ftf price is higher than what I see at the gun show, well, good luck on finding a buyer (especially around here).

Funny thing though; they sell. If you can't find the bargain you're looking for don't piss and moan about it, do what I do... keep looking.

My rant is more like doing this:

"Car for Sale"

and no other information to go with it.

"Glock for Sale"

:) if I have to play 20 questions, it's not worth it. Give me all the information up front.

Damn I was gonna post my RTF G22 for $700 because of the 9 year old but still bright night sights, even comes with 1 low cap mag! So no one would buy it? [ROFL1] It only has 1k through it so its "like new", and it comes in a box so its "like new in box". Also it only has a small rub mark on one side so its "almost new, mint condition". Since its broke in and just cleaned its "better then new"! Hell I am gonna post it for $800 or trade for high end AR with EOtech.

No your rant came off more like this:

Seller: "Glock 22 for sale"

You: "WTF!!?! How the hell am I supposed to know what that is?!!!?"

It is the equivalent to posting up that you have a Ford (VIN#) for sale. Then telling everyone, just Google the VIN number! Each number is unique and tells you exactly how the car is equipped.

Maybe if people stop taking the price off an ad when it sells people would have a better idea of the current going rates on the local economy. Hint, Hint.

Call me a hypocrite (because i'm guilty of deleting price), but I agree and no longer delete the price. Not sure why I did it in the past, or why people still do it. Not really a huge secret or anything.

I do not have a problem with the glock (or other) ads that just list a mod #. I hope that if one is interested in a firearm that one has done there research and know exactly what they are after.

Now some guns and mutts/kits need a good copy to both explain and sell it.

On a purely personal nature the ads that I wonder about are the ones that have a picture and the copy reads.......

But not included is the scope, mount, sling, mags, rivets, trigger and barrel......

Is it that hard to take a pic of the item that is to be sold as it is for sale? That is just my personal gripe. Reminds me of the Richard Pryor movie "Moving" ;)

This is a gun enthusiast's blog forum. Having to describe the caliber and morphology of specific make and model of most guns is redundant for the mass majority.

This thread needs a great big box of tissue.

Ya, I know... I used a big word in my post. It will give some of you some quality google time.[Tooth]

Irving

If you can't understand what morphology means from the way you used it, Google might not help.

Glock9, Glock40, and Glock45 "ain't" a model of a glock!

Which Glock9?
homieG replies "big Glock and baby Glock 9 yo!"

:(

Scanker19
11-27-2010, 23:59
Glock 9 is only half porcelain, Glock 40 is 96% Adamantium 4% recycled Hemp cloth (requested by Boulder PD) and the Glock 45 is a mix of what's left of "bad" twinkies and old Little Richard vinyl records (hence the Polymer).

Everyone knows this.[Alrigh]
