Unless it is snowing I will be at the south site for the last one of the year. So make your plans for two weeks from now. :)

We need organization skills here man! I would like to come and I do most of the time; but the ones that show up come to early in the morning for me. Or, everyone shows up at different times. We need someone to step up and organize a time with severe penalties! Like reducing your post count. Yikes!

I mostly go for the site, to meet members and the drive. My range is closer and normally almost empty.

Is this a private shoot, or open to any yahoo ( such as myself ) on COAR15 ?
And is it an organized event of competition courses ? Or just a get together and popping targets ? And last, Where is the "South Site" ?

It is not organized in any way shape or form. We do enforce safety. I try and bring targets and steel. Mostly shoot at 100 yards. South site is just north of Rainbow Falls on 67. I think if you look at the sticky's up top you will find a map.
The road off the highway is short to where we shoot but sometimes not friendly to some cars. That said I have taken the TA up there.

Thanks for the Info. My AR is still a virgin and needs sighting in. This sounds like a good opportunity to do this, and meet a few members at the same time.
And of course it goes without having to be mentioned,
RANGE SAFTEY IS ALWAYS FIRST.

Well, Denver. I just assumed that part of those directions would be "go to the Springs" which is one of the few things I am capable of doing. [Coffee]

Coming from Denver 285 to Co126. At deckers it turns into 67. If you hit the Rainbow falls sign turn around and go back about 1/2 of a mile. Dirt road and stop sign on the left (so coming from Denver it is on the right). It is a nice 1/2 hour drive through the Forrest.
Normally you will drive right past it the first time. If I go early I will put a sign on the stop sign when I get there. I will be in a 98 white dodge std cab truck.

Can someone translate the GPS coords into Latitude and Longitude ?
I have an older Nav. unit, it can only do Lat. & Long.
Give me a break, I was still using a VHS until last year.
If it aint broke, don't replace it. If it is broke, put it in the basement you might be able to to use it for something someday.

EDIT:
Also when you go to maps.google.com and click on the red arrow it converts it to lat and long.

Should not be a problem. The dirt road is only about 1/4 mile in. just go slow and you should be ok.

I will have mats and some sort of support. My std target is the NRA HP 200 reduced for 100 yards but I can bring a few USGI 25M sight in targets for M4/A2. Get it at 25 or so and go from there. ;) Of course I will have to refrain from having flashbacks of running ranges but I promise I will only yell once about you not being able to hit the broad side of a barn. (that WAS a funny by the way) :)
I will bring the junk and you will get sighted in.
