View Full Version : Saudi Aurora?
I was reading another thread and saw that someone posted about Saudi Aurora. I haven't heard that term since I moved here some 15+ years ago.
I'm curious as to the origins of this term for Aurora? Anyone know where it came from or what it meant?
I don't see a large or for that matter any middle easterners here...

I first heard the term back in 1980. I have lived there 3 times in my life. The one crime that still stands out in my mind was where the dad had visitation. He lived in a downstairs apt. The ex walks by and sees her kids playing with the "new" woman and loses it. She blocked there door from the hallway and then from the street kicked in the window pouring gasoline in on them while the kids are screaming "no mommy" she then lit it on fire.
I lived in the complex next door.
I've never known Aurora to be "Hot," but it sure is far East.
No where CO is really unsafe, crime will occur everywhere you go. LOL 5 points, the eastside, federal, etc
