I can mail-order anything, but am looking for a local source for B-40 (10m air pistol) and AR-5 (10m international and 4-position air rifle).

Any leads?

In denver you can go to these guys,
http://www.americantargetcompany.com/air_rifle_pistol_targets.asp

They take cash and you get the same pricing as mail order.

Just south of Downtown Denver

No shit?! I've been wondering WTH I could find those big honkin' 600 yard targets, and they make 'em right here in Denver? Road trip!!!

They do, I picked up a bunch of 200yd reduced and pasters, and you can just get what you need, don't have to buy in bulk.

I'll vouch for 'em, too. Great place to do business. I really like their cardboard silhouettes...last time I bought some they were like $35 per 100.

I went over there a few weeks ago, and the y have a sign on their door that says Wholesale Only. So I turned around and walked away.
I hate asking stupid questions when something is posted on the entrance door.
I even e-mailed them and never got a response !

I called them and asked if they had a store or a walk-in counter.

No, but he said they didn't discourage retail sales (and I'm assuming cash payment to speed things up). Monday through Friday.

Thanks for the tip. I went down there this morning since I was in Denver and have my targets. Pleasant people, easy purchase.

FWIW, the local clubs and their membership issues can be frustrating, so I picked up a refurbished Daisy M853 from the CMP a while ago. I'm pretty pleased with its accuracy. A lot of marksmanship issues can be addressed with an air gun.

So I have a 10-meter winter range set up: shoot from the family room straight through the kitchen into a trap in the dining room. I love my wife: she has no problem at all with it.

Oh, she's a keeper for sure! Perhaps I could get her to talk to my wife about lightening up on things.

My son and I did this in the winter when he was in Scouts for his NRA qualifications [Beer]
