Anyone been using these? I've been hunting coyotes all my life and had been using a 2 3/4" magnum copper plated BB's. I bought a Cabela's Hevi Shot choke tube in modified and some Hevi Shot Dead Coyote 3 1/2" T shot, and some 3" #4 Buck and went out and shot some cardboard to see what kind of results I could get at long ranges. At 70 yds, the Hevi shot put 48 out of 52 pellets in a 3 foot square! I've killed coyotes at 60 yds with the BB's but that was just because 1 or 2 pellets hit it in the head or a vital organ. Then I tried the #4 buck and had pretty much the same results. (80-90% of the pellets in a three foot square) Needless to say I'm impressed.....I usually stay with what works, and I usually don't buy into all of the new gimmicks but this is defiately an exception.

I'm not familiar with this type of choke tube, but it sounds like it's doing exactly as they claim it'll do. I like the idea of being able to reach-and-and-touch something with a shotgun.

I'll have to check these tubes out myself.

I was looking at a Pattern Master but I didn't want to spend $100 on a choke tube, and they only come in one diameter. The one I bought is a Cabela's brand specifically for Hevi Shot and was only $30....and you can get full, modified, or IC. Well worth the money IMO. Read the reviews on Cabela's website.

You can hunt coyotes with a shotgun? I have one of those! I need to get on board.

Yep! Probably 50-60% of the coyotes I kill, I call in to inside of 50yds. A shotgun knocks them flat and I have less to sew up on the furs. And every bobcat I've called in has been shot with a shotgun; all but one fox as well.

Well I went out calling on New Years Day and shot this coyote at 77yds with the "Dead Coyote" 3 1/2" shotshell. The shot flipped him over on his back and he never moved. After skinning him, I counted 28 pellets spread out from nose to tail. I'm sold!
