I don't know what I'm laughing for, his severance package will still be more than my whole extended family's earnings for the last 100 years, and the next 100. Gimme that kinda cash and you'd never hear from me again. Nope, Bowlen is on the hook for 40% of what Shanahan is making for this and next year..

ETA: I don't *think* McLoser has the same set up though, so IF, He gets hired for next year somewhere, Bowlen does not have to pay him..

If I remember correctly this wasn't a "fireable" offense in his contract. So we'll see, I hope they don't pay him and see what the courts decide.

i am doing the happy dance, said it from day one he's a loser.

i have always wanted to slap him.

i bet Pat spent the last week with his lawyers finding how to get out of paying him anything. betting he found the loophole and took it, no upside to firing him now otherwise.


how do you think this played into the play calling last night, 4th quarter and not going for it.

i am getting fired so i am going to ensure the next coach misses the playoffs for sure.

I figured mickeyD would get fired eventually, but not sure if doing it right now was a smart move.

now he's going to be paying three head coaches going into the strike.

the broncos suck this year, but they are not a bad team. a little tweaking and they will be awesome.

I think if he hadn't gotten caught following the pats playbook he would have kept his job longer. the cheating is what killed him.

hmmmm could be.

he chewed out his staff in front of bowlen and alienated everybody after the raiders loss, then got caught cheating.

we are only one game ahead of the bills and the lions...... this is true bronco fan time.

On a side note, my team (Kansas City Chiefs) are 8 - 4.

Of course, if they make it to the playoffs, they'll choke and won't make it to the SB - they never do.

My activities in the Air Force and pissing off a drug dealer back in college (no, I had never been one of his customers - or even a competitor) taught me to always look my car over BEFORE I even touch it.

The good think about driving a POS car to commute is that no one ever messes with it. I suppose they figure me having to drive the thing is punishment enough.
