I managed to save a little from the Telescope sale to buy this Glock 36.45cal. It is much more slim than the G30 I used to have before I started selling everything. This is the first to be added to what used to be my collection. Used but in excellent functional and cosmetic condition. The grip feels good, wish the mag had a little better capacity, but since this is now the only firearm I have I'm not complaining at all. The next to get is to find a reasonably priced AR15 (Bushmaster or Rock River), and start saving up for that.

Although I gotta admit I am not the biggest fan of Glocks, I thought I might share these pictures with you guys. We threaded Toperseven's Glock barrel today and I don’t know if it could have come out any better. Here are some pics of his gun wearing my SWR Trident suppressor. He got a G17L barrel from Glockparts.com that we cut down and threaded.

Yes, I would say it is a LITTLE quieter than the same silencer on my USP, hardly enough to notice unless you really listen.

I assume you cut the threads on a lathe?

The first .040ths were cut on a lathe then we used a dye, it is threaded 1/2x28. I still do not know if I am going to make it to the 12th shoot.

Lol thanks guys. I used to hate glocks too. I owned a Gen 1 G17 almost ten years ago, shot it better than anything else I had ever owned. Sold it

I found another one and bought it, Same thing, I shoot it better than anything else, My M&P is usually my carry, I shoot the G17 better. Its like I dont even have to think about it

@Atrain1, Ya post pics when you get them. I just got rid of a G27 that I never shot, I also had a 19, for some reason I dont shoot any of them as well as I shoot the 17, whick is really wierd considering they both 9mm

Sorry to get off topic here because i dont have any pics to add to this thread... but I want a small carry trying to decide if i want to go with the 26 or 36... i was thinking 36 because i dont have any other 9s and i already have a 45.. so was thinking might as well stay with same bullets.... kind of want to shoot both 1st though!

shoot them both, buy them both [Beer] but really - what will you be using them for? that will help determine what size bullets you want. If you're just plinking, I'd go with the 9 just so you can buy cheaper ammo. But if you're like me and plan to shoot people and not paper, then go bigger holes. lol

Funny. I don't think you can get any more basic than me. I literally use a Fuji pocket camera, a Fuji FinePix F50se with no tripod, no lights, just holding it.

This is very similar to my EDC set-up. I also have a lot of extras on my G23. Definitely my favorite model of Glock.
