Looking at maybe going with a kit if I cant find an AR I like but I dont know the best place to go with it. I want a mid, collapsable stock (prefer CTR etc or at least MOE, flat top, rifle length FF quad rail, and the best quality at the best price. What is my best option for staying $900 or preferably less? I have seen a few RRA's etc for close to this but I also dont want to have to order and wait 30-60 days.

I was just trying to but couldnt get their web site to come up? Havent had one are they good quality? I am used to Bushmaster/DPMS etc and want a higher end one this time, thats why I am thinking build instead of buy maybe. Would really like an LMT/Noveske etc but cant afford to much.

You could put a BCM upper on whichever lower you like & pretty much be assured of having a top-notch gun. BCM is also putting out some "cosmetic blem" lowers for pretty cheap that you could build up. Function would still be top notch I'm sure.

This is what I plan on doing for my next one. Also, smartgunner.com has great prices on custom built DD uppers that are shipped from DD! PSA(palmetto state armory) has their stripped lowers for $69.99 and are expecting more middle of the month. I think their lowers are made by Aero. Goodluck on whatever you choose, I've been building in my head for some time and there is just too many options...damn BRD!

OK heres the skinny, I am really digging the RRA elite operator 2! Build or buy? For the price I dont know if i could build it? Its not a kit (that I can find) so its ala cart and looks more $ to build?
Call RARGUNS....the special still might be going on!

Man I want that elite operator 2! But I want full length handguards [Bang] I wish I could build a similar rifle for the same or less $ but the main thing is its like a 30-45 day wait to get one the RRA!!!

It's an RRA...nothing worth getting too worked up over.
ive built two del-ton's, a 20 inch and 16 inch, thats the route id go. i think if you find a cheap lower (at the time i got a superior arms lower from aim for like $60) you can build one for around $600. always shot really well for me and good customer service. besides, you can customize what you want in the kit and in some cases its a little cheaper to do it that way. just my two cents
