Two Day Shoot-2006

OK, let's do some Pre-Planning here. Your help appreciated. I threw Sept. in just because. If We can get a month narrowed down, ThenWe can work on a date.
I'm going to let the Poll run for 60 days, at the end of which, We'll do a date. So VOTE :D

I didn't vote because I can go June, July or August it don't matter to me. I would probably not be able to make a september shoot as that is hunting season.

as it stands right now, I work friday and saturday nights so weekends are out.

This far in the future, once a date was set, undoubtedly I could put in a time off request (my first in what will be 2.5+ years by then) and come, but then again who knows what site I may be at by then.



Translation: It don't matter to me, it's too far in the future for me to plan.

We have tried to plan on of these for a couple of Years now, Never seems to get to far off the ground. I keep thinking one of these days, the stars and planets will align and, it'll will get off the ground. We'll see though.

Here's my 2 cents worth. It's kinda getting late to make plans in June so, what if we throw out a couple of dates out there in July or August it just might fly. I was thinking, keep the normal sat. scheduled shoots on the calender but, add the bonus Two Day as an optional shoot. How about the last weekend in July the 29th & 30th (OR) the first weekend in August the 5th & 6th ? We'll never be able to please everybody so take a vote or flip a coin however you do it it's fine with me. If someone else has a better idea lets hear it. We're running out of time so we better put it together soon or it will be next years project. Also I like the idea of holding it up in leadville. It's not that far away for everybody and it's real nice up there in late summer also they have plenty of camping. Anyway that's my 2 cents worth. ..IF we can keep the ball rolling, we could make plans for NEXT year. Set up 2 different weekends (primary and secondary) and STICK to 'em.

That gives everyone time for input and advance notice.

we've been trying to do this for what, 2-3 years now? :oops:
I don't think a few more months will have a drastic effect.


(and this helps me as I'm going to Arkasas next month for a couple weeks (work) and I'm in charge of hurricane relief efforts here too. I also have not taken a vacation in a long time and I'm still trying to figure out what to do!)
